What makes MoogWax so special?
We know that there are a range of other really good massage waxes that you can buy. MoogWax is special however, for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, our product is 100% Vegan. This means that you can use it in your clinics without potentially compromising the ethics of your clients.
We use apricot kernel oil as the main carrier oil. This means that the wax is suitable for anyone including those with sensitive skin. The alternative is sweet almond oil which can with repeated use, cause irritation to sensitive skin. Apricot kernel oil is light and absorbs slowly into the skin. It leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth and is exceptionally good for dry, mature or sensitive skin.
MoogWax is also special because our aromatherapy blends are really quite unique. Even the seemingly simple blends are incredibly sophisticated. It's the difference between having one or two musical instruments and a whole orchestra of smells. It's just a shame you can't smell them over the Internet as we know you would love them. The range we have put together includes something for just about every kind of client that is likely to come through your door and that's why we think the WaxStack is such a great idea. Even if they don't want to go away smelling truly wonderful, then you can use the plain wax that is suitable for just about anyone!
How long does a tin last?
Moogwax is currently available in 250ml tins. We find a little goes a very long way but it depends on the dryness of your client's skin. We reckon you can get about 45 to 70 back massages from a 250ml tin. That's just over 20p per massage and we think that it's a very small price to pay for giving your clients lovely nourished skin and the gorgeous smells to take away with them. They'll be much more likely to come back!

What is the best wax for reflexology
All our waxes are suitable for reflexology but we also have developed a specific blend that is perfect for feet. You can find more information on our Reflexology blend on our Speciality Waxes Page. MoogWax So Soothing and MoogWax Headache and Migraine Buster are also very popular with reflexologists who like it for the peppermint essential oil they contain.
Is MoogWax safe to use during Pregnancy?
MoogWax So Simple is suitable for use during pregnancy and MoogWax So Blooming Marvellous has been specifically developed for pregnancy massage. Most of our other waxes contain infused arnica oil. There is some doubt about the use of arnica during pregnancy and so we think it's best to err on the side of caution. Check the caution information under the more details section of each wax for information about whether or not you can use it for pregnancy massage.
